The Guarantee Protection Trust is another facility that we promote to our customers. Membership of the GPT is only conferred on those contractors who have satisfied the requirements of the BWPDA of which we are one. It arranges insurance to cover the long-term guarantees issued by the industry.

A prudent property owner, architect or local authority will insist that any long-term guarantee be secured within the GPT scheme. They will therefore nominate for remedial work firms able to procure such cover. A more detailed leaflet is supplied with our reports.
